Why should teens practice yoga? In a world buzzing with cell phones, peer pressure, and negative body images, they need to arm themselves with positive energy and activities. This teen class is the perfect introduction to the power and benefits of yoga and meditation and how it can improve their self-esteem as well as their muscles.
Teens who think yoga is for their moms will be surprised to find this cool class with upbeat music a great combination of physical challenge, stress relief, relaxation and fun. This class is designed to empower teens with increased inner and outer strength, physical confidence, coordination, body awareness, and balance.
Each class will be designed with postures and practices to enhance the challenges teens are specifically facing. Whether cross- training for a sport, studying for the SATs, or looking for a way to get in shape while also relieving stress, this class will help them work towards that goal.
