Xen Strength Yoga with Weights is a revolutionary method that combines a creative yoga flow with strength training, to provide a transformational workout designed to sculpt,
lengthen, and challenge every muscle. Yes, you’ll not only get a hot yoga body, but according to those smarty-pants doctors at Harvard, you’ll also build muscle mass, increase bone density, and help prevent osteoporosis when practicing both yoga and strength training!
XSYWW builds muscle, increases flexibility, and boosts body confidence by bringing you to your edge. This fitness fusion was designed for students who feel the need to strength train after taking a yoga class. With XSYWW, you get a total-body workout, combining heart-pumping cardio benefits from a nonstop flow with an increased metabolism from added strength training in every sequence.
XSYWW targets the parts of the body where we hold the most stress: the knees, hips, low back and shoulders. The core is also focused on throughout in order to increase balance, which is one of the most effective ways to correct muscle imbalances in the body. Whether you’re an athlete or not, this method gives you an edge in your training and enhances your performance—whether on the mat, running on the field, or after your kids.
XSYWW was carefully designed with the five key training essentials fitness experts recommend:
- Aerobic Exercise
- Strength Training
- Core Exercise
- Balance Training
The Xen Strength Sweet Spot
Xen Strength helps you achieve the most effective results with the least amount of effort by engaging you in a practice that FEELS good on ALL levels. So, what’s the secret?
It’s the sweet spot, the place where the simple pleasures of yoga meet the physical benefits of strength training. It’s not enough to work the muscles rep after rep, lifting weights. In order to achieve maximum effectiveness, you must lengthen as you strengthen.
Now, you’re probably thinking, “Sounds great Danielle, but how much time is it going to take?”
Listen, I know you don’t have 2 hours a day to workout. As a working mom, I don’t either! That’s why I combined exercises that multitask the upper and lower body for an easy-to-schedule routine. If you commit to Xen Strength with your best effort, I promise you will see results QUICKLY.
Xen Strength was born out of my frustrations with not having enough time to do yoga, strength train, and get my heart pumping. I looked for something that combined these elements of fitness, but had no luck, so I decided to design my own program. After just two months of not changing ANYTHING else but switching two yoga classes for two Xen Strength classes a week-not my diet, my cardio, nothing- I had lost 5 pounds and multiple inches.
But don’t just take it from me, here’s what my students have to say:
“Within a month of practicing Xen Strength twice a week, I noticed a change in my body: my arms were more defined, thighs and glutes more shapely, and I could feel my body getting stronger and more toned.” FD
“Xen strength is an awesome workout that elegantly tests the limits of your endurance. It’s a fun filled, grueling hour that strengthens and lengthens muscles I didn’t know I had. Kudos to Danielle for finding a way to make weight training joyful.” JW
“Since I started Xen Strength yoga with Danielle, I have noticed my yoga practice improve. I feel stronger then before and I my joints feel much better. I love it and take it at least once a week.” PV
